Local, National, and State Resources for Veterans
Veterans Crisis Line
The Veterans Crisis Line is free and confidential. When you call, chat, or text, a qualified responder will listen and help. You decide how much information to share. Support doesn't end with your conversation. Our responders can connect you with the resources you need.

The Veterans Center
The STARS Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports Veterans Program is a specialized adaptive recreation resource for veterans and active-duty service members with service-connected disabilities, offering structured outdoor experiences that support physical recovery, mental wellness, and social reintegration. It provides access to trained instructors, adaptive equipment, lodging, and guided activities in a supportive, peer-based environment designed to build confidence and independence. Its emphasis on accessibility, skill development, and camaraderie makes it a practical pathway for veterans seeking therapeutic recreation, community connection, and continued personal growth through outdoor activity.
